I hope you are enjoying Unity's Friends With Flair. I apologize that I do not have a new project to show you today (nor do I have the blinkie). I was going to make a project using my yet un-inked May Store Kit Moments In Bloom and Naturally You. I love this kit and have been chomping at the bit to use it. Unfortunately, there was a problem with my plumbing at my apartment that required me to stay somewhere else yesterday and last night. So I just don't have a NEW project for you today.I will go ahead and share some old projects that you may have already seen...but just in case you missed them.....
Here's a Pirate Madness Card:
Together We Bloom (April KOM):
Super Sweet and Stuck On You (April Store KOM):
I would like to say (if you are still reading this far.....lol) That I buy Unity Stamps because I love the design and they are reasonably priced. Unity is a GREAT company with GREAT customer service. Angela and Chris are wonderful and super nice. I am so happy that they are realizing their dream of a successful and thriving business. Unity is growing so fast and yet they manage to maintain high standards of customer service. The Design Team continuously inspires me- they always make me want MORE Unity stamps. LOL
I just want to congratulate Unity on 2 years of business and I hope you have many more!! :)
I have a card for this week's Crazy4Challenges Sketch Challenge. I used the Rubber Romance Image, Brooke and a Book. I chose this image because Summer starts next weekend (Yes, I know technically Summer doesn't start until mid-late June...but the party starts NOW!) I really would LOVE to be at the beach or by the pool with a book and a margarita. But alas, I have responsibilities so I must live vicariously through Brooke. Hopefully, you can enjoy her sunshine too.
Stamps: Rubber Romance Brook with a Book and It's All About Me
Paper: Papertrey Aqua Mist, Pure Poppy and White; Pink Paislee 365 Degrees
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils, Paper-piercing tool, Corner rounder Punch, Pure Poppy Ribbon and Buttons, Ranger Glossy Accents, Sakura Glaze Black Embossing Pen, Sewing Machine
Aaaahh. Can't you just imagine relaxing in the sun with a book. I know I sure can. If you want more details on how I created this card, you can check out today's post on the Rubber Romance Blog. I hope you enjoyed the project today and I hope your Memorial Day weekend is Fun and Fabulous!
This is the 2nd post for today. PLEASE scroll down for the Friends With Flair and Friday Fun Post. (You won't be sorry you did) ;) Thanks!!
Welcome to the Caffinated Cropper Birds of a Feather Blog Hop. Today the design team is showcasing more fun things you can do with the May kit, Birds of a Feather. I am totally in love with this kit- there is so much fun stuff in it- and I haven't even started to use all of it yet! For today's card I used the Paper Make Up stamps included in this kit. Melody is such a cutie- and the sentiment is a perfect compliment to the image. All paper (with the exception of the gray card base and the white image panel) is from the kit. I also used the purple ribbon, the paper doily and the music note ribbon charm. (love that!) The layout is from 2Sketches4You blog.
Amy is offering up the Birds of a Feather Kit for $29 w/free shipping PLUS for the FIRST 5 orders she is throwing in a SURPRISE gift. Today is the last day she is offering up her fabulous paper bundles too- so be sure to check them out on her blog HERE. Below is the rest of the Design Team's blogs- I can't wait to see what they have created for you today!!
It's Friday so that means TWO things! It's time for the Friday Fun Challenge and Unity's Friends with Flair! And it is really exciting today because I have the FWF Blinkie! Woo hoo! Just leave a comment and I will choose a winner tomorrow!
Today's Friday Fun Challenge is brought to us again by Kim. She chose this Picture as our inspiration for our projects:
That looks soooo yummy! I decided to use the chocolate and fruit colors for my inspiration, plus I really, really wanted to use the Unity set, I Ruff You with my new Basic Grey Max & Whiskers paper.
I love this little guy- he's sooo cute! Be sure to check out the Unity Blog for the whole list of FWF participants and leave them some love! Below are the rest of the Friday Fun girls- check out their projects and feel free to play along with us. Just use Keyword FFC83 when uploading to SCS.
This is post # 2 for today- please scroll down or click HERE for the Friday Fun/Unity Friends with Flair Post.
Today the Caffinated Cropper Design Team is hopping to show you what we have been up to with our May Kit- Birds of a Feather. I really do LOVE this kit. For today's project I whipped up a QUICK birthday card. I used the awesome EAD Rub-Ons along with the Punched Out Bird to make this card. EVERYTHING I used on the card (except white card base and border and corner punches) came from this kit! It was so easy to whip up a card- and everything goes together. I love it.
Can you believe this fabulous kit is only $35 with FREE shipping??!! Also, Amy still has some With A Cherry on Top Kits- available for $29 OR if you bundle it with Birds of a Feather you get BOTH for $45 (free shipping). She also has some AWESOME paper bundles too. If you are looking for a GREAT deal on all the latest papers, be sure to check out her blog!
You can check out the rest of Design Team's creations for more inspiration!! (Ashley is not posting today due to technical difficulties with her internet connection- go leave her some love anyway!)
Happy Friday!! I'm back to my old work schedule now so I'm of ALL day! That makes is a GREAT day in my book. Today's Friday Fun is brought to us my Kim. This is her challenge:
May 14 ~ April Showers bring May Flowers...what do May Flowers bring? Butterflies and bees! Make a card with an insect on it.
I pulled out my Unity stamps and Caffinated Cropper kits and made my card. All papers except my Gray and purple card stock are from Caffinated Cropper's May Kit- Birds of a Feather. The butterfly and lace trim are from the April Kit- With A Cherry On Top (which is still available separately OR as a bundle with Birds of a Feather). For the stamps, I went back deep into my Unity stash which is actually pretty darn big....how did THAT happen? LOL. The butterfly is from the February 2009 Kit of the Month, Endings and Beginnings. The sentiment is from Something Within (LOVE this set!). I just love the fact that I have nearly 2 years worth of Unity Kit of the Month sets. I really can stamp almost whatever I want. I really can't wait to get this month's kit in the mail. :)
Be sure to check out the Unity Blog for the whole list of Friends with Flair. If you want to play along with the Friday Fun Challenge (there's no prize or blog candy- but hey- it's FUN) then just use keyword FFC82 when uploading to SCS so we can see all the inspiring creations. Check out the Friday Fun Girls' blogs below for more inspiration!
I hope you are having a GREAT weekend so far. Today I stamped something just for the pure joy of it- and to get an idea out of my head. During Unity Stamp Co.'s anniversary week, they issued challenges every day. I was able to participate in several but I missed out on the Martini Sketch. I had an idea on what stamps and paper I wanted to use, I just never found the time to sit down and make the card. I still wanted to use the paper and stamps together so I decided to make a card- I just used a different challenge for it. The layout is Card Positioning Challenge # 165. What really inspired me for this card is the Seaside Retreat papers from Webster's Pages. It's full of fun colors and one print actually looks like a nautical map- which of course I related to a Treasure map. SO....I broke out my Pirate Madness set from Unity. I love this set and I don't get enough occasions to use it.
Happy Friday!! This week has been hectic so the weekend cannot come soon enough! Today Caffinated Cropper is debuting the Fabulous May Card Kit- Birds of a Feather. I know I have said this with every kit so far, but I LOVE this kit. It is jam-packed with fabulous and fun goodies that I would have never thought to put all together myself (if I could even find all of this stuff on my own). Amy is just a pure GENIUS when it comes to creating these kits. Just check out this list of goodies that can be yours for $35 with FREE Shipping:

Are you lovin' this kit yet? If not, wait until you see what the awesome Design Team (including TWO Guest Designers for May) have come up with.
Now are you ready to see what I made with this kit? I combined TWO challenges. This week's Friday Fun Challenge is brought to us myKim. The challenge is to make a card using a hand-made flower. If you would like to play along, (and it would be so much fun if you did) use keyword FFC81 when uploading to SCS so we can find your creations. The other challenge I played today is the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (#137) So finally (thank you for staying with me this long) here is my card:
EVERYTHING on this card is from the Birds of a Feather Kit with the exception of the Gray Card Base and the white panel that I printed the image on. I was so excited to use the Silver Fox Smooch on my image- and I brushed it on the petals of my flower. Be sure to check out the other Friday Fun Girls' for more inspiration:
