It's Time for Some Friday Fun!

It's the second week of the blog challenge I am doing with three of my Sassy Sistahs! Jimmi is the hostess this week and you can get more details on the challenge on her blog The Stamping Shopper. You can also play along with us. When you upload your creations just use the key word FFC2.

This week's challenge was to use some bling on our cards. Since my Sassy friends consider me the "Queen of Bling" this should be easy, right? Well, I don't know if it's because I have been working too much or something else but I had a hard time coming up with an idea for this one. Crazy, I know! If any of you have been following my blog lately you may have noticed that I have become a serious Unity Stamp lover. I rarely use anything else these days. To get my creative juices flowing I dug through my "Unity" drawer and found this gorgeous butterfly that hadn't even seen ink yet. GASP!! I had to correct that situation right away!

I inked the butterfly first with SU Kiwi Kiss. Then I "rock'n rolled" it in Pacific Point ink and stamped it onto white cardstock. The sentiment Daydream is from Unity's August KOTM, Remember Happiness. (how can you forget what happiness is when you are using your Unity rubber??) The card base is Pacific Point layered with Baja Breeze and an embossed layer of Kiwi Kiss (I used my CB for this). The stamped images were cut out using my Large Circle Nestabilities and layered with the Large Scalloped circles in Pacific Point. I added ribbon and my bling is in the form of Lime Green Stickles.

Anyway, I hope you like my card and I hope you will play along with us. You can see more Friday Fun Eye candy at Kim and Katherine's Blogs. Thanks for stopping by!
