Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a great day! I am sharing two cards I created with Unity's
Eco Chic kit. I put away some of my Unity kits yesterday and decided I HAD to save the part of the packaging with that cut window. I felt I could do something pretty cute with them. It also got me thinking that the best set to use with recycled materials was Eco Chic- plus mine has not seen ink yet. (GASP!! ) Yes, I actually have several sets that need some inky love. I am working on that this weekend, though. ;)

My first card uses Cosmo Cricket Paper and that fabulous window. I stamped the flower in Black
Stazon then colored with my Bic
Markits. I layered it over some Designer Paper and Riding Hood Red and added some red brads to accent the panel. The card is finished off with some twine I received from one of my
fabby stamping friends. :)

The second card is a 5.25" square card that I tried to get creative with. I'm still not sure about it, but I can definitely say it is different for me. :) The patterned paper is from K&Company and I used my
Nestabilities to cut out the circle, then cut it in half. I paper-pierced around the circles and then used my handy dandy
SU tool kit to punch those huge holes. The twine was threaded through and tied in a knot. It was fun to use the hammer- it woke Alex up!
hehe. Yes, I am an evil Mom. But having a
Cropodile has made me forget how therapeutic using the hammer and hole punch can be.
Thanks for stopping by today and viewing my little creative spurt. Hopefully I will have some more time to create today. Happy Saturday!
